Holger KoosVDA - Verband der Automobilindustrie

Fields of Activity & Topics – The entire automotive spectrum

The multitude of its departments, committees and working groups demonstrates the VDA’s dedication to advancing the interests of its members. The association has also established other focuses with the special Fields of Activity and Topics. The environment is one of the VDA’s main concerns with a scope spanning national air pollution control, environmental protection, chemicals in the production, ways for drivers to save gas, and alternative fuels and motors. Another point of focus is road safety in Germany including the campaign "New Ways to Drive”, safety measures like airbags and the special role of transporters and trucks. The VDA has added a new focus to its activities: "The Working World of the Automotive Industry”, which provides the reader with fascinating portraits from the industry.
