Internet TV for the 63rd IAA Cars starts in cooperation with AUTO BILD TV

Frankfurt am Main, 21 August 2009. Even though the IAA, the largest automotive trade show of the year, will not open its doors until 17 September, the most important highlights can already be seen on the IAA's Internet TV. www.iaa-tv.com gives visitors an overview of the cars of tomorrow and the highlights of the IAA. This is the first time that the IAA and AUTO BILD TV are cooperating on a TV station dedicated to the motor show.

Online visitors will not only be able to gain virtual experience of the latest models, but also to find out about the most important environmental innovations, safety standards and all the IAA's special activities by watching the trade-fair TV station. "For the most important trade fair for mobility, this presence on the Internet is a significant addition, making the IAA even more attractive to visitors and exhibitors," stressed Matthias Wissmann, President of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). "The trade-fair TV focuses on the core messages of ‘sustainability' and ‘safety in road traffic,' and on the innovative drive of our manufacturers and suppliers. And we want to arouse people's interest in visiting this IAA. We are therefore cooperating with AUTO BILD TV on this new type of project."

The 63rd IAA Cars, organized by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), will be attended by around 700 exhibitors from over 40 countries showcasing the latest highlights and trends in the automotive industry.
