The task of the Container Standardisation Working Party is to address and solve current logistical problems affecting charge carriers and containers in the "Material Flow Parts System" (TUL), in order to enhance the competitiveness of the automotive industry.
With this aim, vehicle manufacturers and suppliers are jointly developing uniform procedures that guarantee partnership and a fair balance of interests in the implementation of concepts for charge carriers and containers. These procedures include the presentation of requirements from logistics processes and procedures, their explanation and in particular also the definition of guidelines for the economic design (new design and further development) of the charge carriers and containers necessary for the movement of goods and materials and rules for their handling.
