Organisation
The Logistics Department is active in the field of the global definition and standardisation of logistic processes and the associated IT procedures. In this context, the Department serves four working parties:
- Electronic Commerce (AEKG)
- Container Standardisation
- Logistic Processes
- CAD/CAM
together with an Information Working Group (software and communications), including its working parties. Publicly, the Department also represented the above concerns in the following organisations: DIN, BSL, CLEPA, JAMA, ODETTE, CEN, ProStep, AIAG etc.
