Taxes and customs duties – A central topic of growing importance
Since taxation has become increasingly important over the years, the VDA has expanded its presence and activities in this area. With this newly created department, the member’s interests can be more effectively represented in the area of taxation. Taxes on company cars and those less than a year old are dealt with in addition to "major” tax topics like corporate tax reform, estate tax reforms and vehicle tax. Questions on energy and international taxation also belong to this area. The VDA Taxation Committee provides an important arena to discuss taxation issues.
