In recent years China has gained considerable importance for the German automotive industry. Manufacturers and suppliers are both represented in China and their successful business there accounts for a significant share of overall turnover.

The aim of the VDA in China is to make the regulatory conditions in China and the Chinese market itself more transparent for the companies in the German automotive industry. We do this by creating contacts with the authorities, associations and institutions and by providing information. We ensure that we speak for our members by initiating and supporting relevant projects, and by presenting the results to the outside world.
