    Key technologies

Chair: Frank-Klaus Gajek, Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH & Co. KG

It is necessary to standardize the interfaces and data structures in good time for the universal use of the technologies that are likely to become established in the automotive industry. This can be seen from the experience of standardizing optical identification media such as barcodes and radio-based identification media such as RFID. For example, it is foreseeable that technologies such as Bluetooth and Ultra Wide Band will be used more and more frequently in the logistics process chain. The aspects of authenticity and integrity of the information may also play a role.
