The document „from 2022 is an updated version of the report „Emissionsfaktoren für Strom, Fernwärme und Kraftstoffe“, which was published in German language in June 2019. It presents country-specific emission factors of energy production related to fuel input and final energy produced (electricity and district heating, respectively) as well as country-specific electricity mixes by energy source.
Parallel to this document, a companion document entitled "Emission factors for electricity, district heating and fuels – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document" is published to answer questions that arise.
