General Assembly of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) meets in Berlin
Bernhard Mattes, President of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) since March 1, 2018, was confirmed in office at today’s General Assembly of VDA members in Berlin. The VDA’s Managing Board unanimously returned him to office for another two years. Three vice-presidents, also members of the Presiding Board, were also re-elected: Dr. Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management at Daimler AG, Dr. Daniel Böhmer, CEO of F. X. Meiller Fahrzeug- und Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG, and Arndt G. Kirchhoff, Managing Partner of the Kirchhoff Group.
One new member was also elected to the VDA’s Managing Board: Bram Schot, acting Chairman of the Board of Management at Audi AG and Board Member for Sales and Marketing.
