Refueling with e-fuels in their purest form – VDA on coalition agreement

"The ambitious climate goals in transport can only be achieved with renewable fuels. Therefore the political decision by the coalition to allow vehicles to be refueled with largely climate-neutral fuels such as e-fuels and HVO fuels in their pure form is good news for climate protection. Now the 10th Federal Immission Control Ordinance must be promptly adjusted to include the European standard EN 15940.

It is crucial that passenger cars and commercial vehicles can be refueled with pure, climate-neutral fuels as soon as possible so as to contribute their share in defossilization of road traffic."
