“job and career at IAA,” 25 September to 2 October 2014 in Hannover
This year the IAA Commercial Vehicles is emphasising its role in promoting careers. The “job and career” forum will be a new feature at the world’s leading trade fair for mobility, transport and logistics in Hannover.
Automotive specialists and students of engineering (or on bachelor’s or master’s courses) can visit the new career section entitled “job and career at IAA 2014” to find out about potential employers in the automotive industry and take advantage of an extensive lecture programme on careers.
The 64th IAA Commercial Vehicles in 2012 attracted more than 260,000 visitors, 87 per cent of whom were trade visitors. The IAA Commercial Vehicles is therefore an excellent recruiting platform for companies in the automotive industry – ranging from suppliers to engineering service providers and all the way to the vehicle manufacturers. To improve contacts between employers and (future) specialists, the world’s leading automotive trade fair now has a job fair expert on board in the form of spring Messe Management.
Stand space for a limited period of two, four or eight days
At the 65th International Motor Show this autumn, exhibitors can present themselves in Hall 23 as employers – at a booth, on the multimedia “job wall”, during the lecture programme and in the applicants’ lounge. There will now be a special option at the IAA Commercial Vehicles of reserving space on individual exhibition days – for a period of two, four or eight days.
Furthermore, the organiser is offering trade visitors an attractive programme of lectures and workshops. Alongside questions concerning education and further training, the lectures will cover prospects on the job market in the commercial vehicle industry. In addition there will be training in presentation technique and public speaking, and lectures in which individual companies present career paths they offer.
IAA CommercialVehicles: springboard for a career in engineering
“Our new ‘job and career at IAA’ section offers the exhibitors an ideal forum for presentation as employers. We are delighted to be adding this to our WorkING and GoING sessions, which point up and promote job prospects in the automotive industry,” said Klaus Bräunig, the Managing Director of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) responsible for the IAA. “spring Messe Management is an expert partner for us that will make the IAA more of a springboard for careers in the automotive industry,” Bräunig explained. The VDA is the organiser of the IAA.
