"Forum" Messe Frankfurt on the Main
The Automobile Logistics Forum was held at the Frankfurt am Main exhibition center on February 4 and 5, 2014. The meeting point for logisticians and supply chain managers of the manufacturers and suppliers to the automotive industry, as well as automotive experts from logistics, IT, services and consulting companies, proves to be a complete success with more than 500 participants. Taking as its slogan “Making complex networks flexible – internationally, intelligently, innovatively,” speakers from the business and academic communities presented the latest developments and insights in the logistics sector.
This year too, participants had the opportunity to take part in one of the plant tours that were on offer. At its Rüsselsheim plant, Adam Opel AG provided insights into the fully automatic production concept of the body shop and the spare parts distribution center. Continental AG at Frankfurt-Rödelheim offered participants insights into the highly automated production and assembly processes for electronic brake systems. In addition, Lufthansa Cargo AG opened the doors of the largest airfreight center in Europe.
