The Presta Sequential SlideCam® system from thyssenkrupp optimizes the proven slide cam system to reduce space and weight as well as costs. It allows the air required for fuel combustion and the exhaust gases to be routed as flexibly as possible through the valves into and out of the cylinders, thus increasing efficiency. This results in lower fuel consumption and emissions. The system is more cost-effective than comparable systems thanks to a minimal number of electronic components and can therefore also be integrated cost-effectively into hybrid powertrains.
