Automotive Technologies & Eco-systems

Coordination Unit for powertrains of the future & Electric Mobility

Alternative and electric powertrains for vehicles of the future are becoming increasingly important. The spectrum ranges from new combustion engine concepts to plug-in hybrids and battery-electric vehicles to fuel cell vehicles and new alternative fuels. These new powertrains are closely interlinked with new energy supply and networked transport systems and thus complement the mobility of the future.

Coordination Unit for powertrains of the future and Electric Mobility represents the interests of the automotive industry on various committees. For example, the joint efforts of the members of the National Platform Future of Mobility (NPM) to enable the development of cross-modal and interlinking paths for a largely greenhouse gas-neutral and environmentally friendly transport system.
