Penetrant Testing for Surface Crack Detection on Car Parts
The non-destructive testing methods are to be selected based on VDA Recommendation 236-130 (“Qualification in NDT methods”).
This VDA Recommendation aims to set out technical standards for penetrant testing, taking into account the special conditions prevailing in the automotive industry. The contracting parties must agree on the binding applicability of the procedures described in this VDA Recommendation. The parameters to be used must be defined.
