Requirements for Testing the Weldability of Aluminium Sheet Alloys using Resistance Spot Welding (RSW)
This document describes the validation process for joining aluminium-base materials (homogeneous) with themselves using resistance spot welding (RSW).
The test result is only valid for the alloy composition with the surface (pre-) treatment (e. g. dry lubricant, passivation) used in the test, including the temper at the time of the test.
