The basis for networked mobility is data. In order to enhance data protection, the automotive industry has developed the “NEVADA” concept. We explain how it works. In Germany, the introduction of research tax incentives is currently prepared. We show which political framework conditions would further support our companies in order to secure Germany’s technological competitiveness. Moreover, we report on the balancing act in trade policy from the point of view of the automotive industry, challenges for suppliers as well as on new mobility services and the transition between the test procedures NEDC and WLTP.
