Promoting foreign trade and development cooperation
Even in difficult COVID19 times, the German government's foreign trade fair program will continue and trade fair participation will be offered for 2022. In many countries, trade fairs are again being held in compliance with strict hygiene and safety precautions. There are innovations appropriate to the circumstances, such as free cancellation options.
The VDA, in cooperation with AUMA and other trade associations, has applied for funding for German joint stands at selected trade fairs. Participation in a joint stand is financially supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). Joint organization with the support of a professional implementation company also simplifies participation administratively. The VDA also supports the trade fair appearance on site with the participation of the VDA management and with accompanying measures, such as press conferences or B2B meetings.
