The CE4A is part of a global community called the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG). This is where we help to unify, harmonize and drive innovation in new Bluetooth features. This keeps us at the forefront of new Bluetooth specifications. We are also able to exchange ideas and concepts with other companies to keep up with the latest Bluetooth technology trends.

Our Mission
Our mission is to advance the integration of Bluetooth technology with consumer electronics in vehicles, providing premium in-car user interfaces that ensure safe, seamless access to mobile communication. By leveraging Bluetooth and supporting the latest consumer electronics, we aim to meet the growing demand for innovative, legally compliant solutions that enhance the driving experience.
Objectives
- Push publications of new and advanced Bluetooth specifications with vehicle relevant issue
- Create well-defined standardized wireless and wired interfaces for seamless and user-friendly mobile phone vehicle integration
- Specification of joint Bluetooth Low Energy strategies
- Better integration of personal information with mobile devices in cars
- Wide interoperability of PIM devices and vehicular communication systems.
- Closer cooperation with the CE- and OS-manufacturer, to establish elaborated specifications faster in the field
